An Outpost has been quickly declared to be established, in order to find out what has happened to the Human genius and, potentially, what has happened to his works.

* Jolvis Volt flees Genhoven due to a specific incident.
* His workers, followers and apprentices follow him. Beyle is the second-in-charge.
* They flee past The Thorn, into Julnoor Province.
* They spend the next few years building various devices to further their own projects and to transform the environment around them.
* Jolvis is either captured, or goes into a sort of reclusive exile in his lair.
* Beyle keeps this secret to herself, essentially issuing orders with Jolvis' 'backing'.
* Workers begin to form into cults that worship Jolvis, Beyle or their own creations.
